Why GeeTramp is built the way it is

Most domestic trampolines are designed to ship cheap. Smaller cartons, lighter frames, thinner steel. We have refused that trade-off since 2017. Every component on a GeeTramp® is specified for the bounce, the lifespan and the safety standard, not for the freight bill. Here is what that means in practice.

1. Certified to AS 4989-2015

Every GeeTramp rectangle is independently tested and certified to AS 4989-2015, the world's toughest trampoline safety standard. We are the only Australian rectangle manufacturer holding that certification. The standard covers structural strength, padding coverage, net containment and frame stability under repeat loading.

2. Industrial-grade frame tubing

Frame tubing is 50 to 60mm in diameter (depending on size) with 2 to 2.5mm wall thickness. That's the steel choice that lets the frame absorb repeat impact without flex over years.

3. Three mat and spring combinations

Four of the six sizes ship with a choice of three mat-and-spring combinations. Standard. High-bounce mat with standard springs. High-bounce mat with Australian galvanised heavy-duty springs. We tune those combinations to jumper weight and bounce style. No other Australian brand offers that level of bounce customisation.

4. Designed around the bounce

Through years of prototyping, we landed on a formula: a robust frame paired with the correct mat-and-spring tension delivers the bounce. Compromise on any of the three and you compromise the bounce. That's why we hold the spec.

5. Continuous, incremental improvements

Our team makes small refinements to the trampolines every year. New zip patterns, padding improvements, net stitching upgrades. Each change is tested against the spec before it ships. No big-bang redesigns that strand earlier customers without parts.

6. Tested before it ships

Every spec change is bounce-tested, load-tested and time-tested before it goes into production. Our development cycle is slower than the import brands by design.

7. Help picking the right size

Most families don't know which size to choose. We do. Tell us your yard dimensions, the age and weight of the jumpers, and what the trampoline is mainly going to be used for. We'll talk you through the trade-offs honestly. Call 03 5292 1100 or use the contact page.

8. Lifetime spare-part support

We keep replacement pads, mats, springs and frame parts in Australian stock. Mats wear out. Pads fade. Springs lose tension after seven to ten years. When that happens, you order the part and bounce on. See the spare parts page.
